    Dear Colleague,

I and Miguel Olivas-Lujan are organizing a PDW session for the Academy of Management meeting in Boston, Ma (August 9-13, 2019).

This session is titled: Isms in academia: exploring how to foster an inclusive culture inside and outside the classroom.

If you join our session, you will give a brief presentation to one of several round tables, which will be on various subtopics. Each of the round tables will report key points from their discussion to the larger session. Our session will include open discussion of which contributions best reflect the conference theme of Understanding the Inclusive Organization. We want brief (about six-minute) presentations on current, past, and prospective approaches in fostering an inclusive culture in academia.

If you are interested in joining us in this submission as a presenter, please provide us with the following information:

    1. Your name as you want it listed on the program.
    2. Please let us know what issues related to this session you would like to discuss in the session. You can describe these at whatever length you wish.
    3. Your institutional affiliation as you want it listed on the program. Please use the form "Harvard U." rather than "Harvard Business School.
    4. Your email address that you wish to have listed on the program. If this is different from the one you wish to communicate with us through, please explain that.
    5. The phone number you wish to have us submit to the AOM for this submission.
    6. The physical mailing address that you wish to have us include for you in the submission, if requested.
    7. If you are an AOM member now or not let us know. We can enter members into our submission quite easily by linking to their existing membership record in the conference submission process.
    8. Though we will not submit them to the AOM, we would appreciate your providing us with additional phone numbers in case you are not at your office when we call. These might include your mobile, home, and/or Skype numbers.
    9. We need your commitment that you will attend and present at this session if it is accepted and that you are not in violation of the rule of being in a maximum of three PDW submissions.  (Beyond those three you are allowed an additional three on the main program).

We request that you respond to us promptly (ASAP- no later than December 31st, 2018) so we can move ahead quickly. Please send your responses to me at:  andrigeorgiadou.ag@gmail.com

    Best Regards,

    Andri Georgiadou and Miguel Olivas-Lujan
