PDW  Session 206:  Groovy!  That's Dope, Fo' Shizzle!  Round 2:  Networking and Communicating in the Multigeneration AOM.

    Swissôtel Chicago, Monte Rosa
    Saturday, Aug 11 2018
    8:00AM - 10:00AM

    Bring your morning coffee!

Based on the success of prior workshops, this year's AOM theme requires us to find ways to improve our lives and the lives of others. We will do this by bridging our generational gaps, identifying, discussing, and recognizing the value that each generation brings to our institution and elsewhere. Each of us has grown up in a different time and under different circumstances which is reflected in the way we think and act, and ultimately impacts effectiveness in communicating and healthy interactions with each other.

Our engaging PDW will create ideas that will aid us all in connecting and valuing the generations, improving our interactions and communications with each other at AOM, and aiding AOM in accommodating generational differences while improving "health and well-being" of its members.

Speed networking and roundtable discussions will help participants uncover and develop tools for AOM that can leverage our differences as benefits among multiple generations.
Led by individuals from three different generations, this is an ideal PDW for anyone, but particularly for those new to AOM and for those that wish to improve their networking skills at AOM and across generations
