This 2018 Professional Development Workshop (PDW) represents Phase I towards a three-year research project which aims to explore, examine, and expand the study of impacts of Sustainability in Management Education (SiME) integration. Based on the latest research in SiME, academic knowledge facilitated by the academy (AOM) and sponsoring divisions, and brainstorming ideas by influential academic authors, practitioners and journal editors, we design this PDW as a research, learning, and networking platform for all participants. In particular, we seek to offer a theoretical background to the field, review and highlight influential teaching, research narratives and interventions, as well as critically analyze integration capacity models for both developed and developing country contexts. New and returning participants will be invited to join this conversation by: a) further engaging in future research collaborations with those presenting, b) helping identify research streams not discussed in the PDW, c) continuing to further develop the concepts, models, and critiques of SiME, and d) building cross-border networks to dramatically increase the study of impacts of SiME efforts from global and cultural dimensions. The workshop promises to be informative, interactive, and full of research possibilities for those interested in the assessment of SiME integration.

Pre-registration is required for this session. To register online, please contact s7mitchell@comcast.net to obtain the approval code. Then visit https://secure.aom.org/PDWReg. The deadline to register online is Wednesday, August 8, 2018.
