  • 1.  MED Officer nominations now open!

It is that time of the year again!! We will be electing officers in a few weeks, and your nominations are needed. Self-nominations are very much welcome!

A strong election slate is important for our division: AOM's membership task forces use elections as a proxy for the vitality of our division.

Our new officers will add new energy, passion, and commitment to our division. Please do not rely on chance or others; participate in this process by entering one or more nominations yourself. It is very important that we have viable candidates for ALL positions, not just the Chair Elect. We need a full and diverse team to function our best.

Here is the link to the nominations site, which will be open from February 1 through the 28th: https://apps.aom.org/DivNomination. As chair of this committee, I very much appreciate your help!

    Fellow MED members,

We have only eight days left to close nominations! Please nominate yourself or one of our colleagues whom you know will help us take the division to the next level!! All you need to do is log on to the following page and follow the prompts:

    https://apps.aom.org/DivNomination

We are particularly in need of candidates for the Membership Coordinator-Elect, Research Coordinator-Elect, and Practitioner Liaison-Elect. We have received nominations for PDW Chair and for Division Representative-at-Large, but of course we will not turn down others. The more participation, the better our division's "health indicators" will be.

    With best wishes,

    ~Miguel
