    Colleagues:

The latest issue (Vol. 14, No. 1/2) of the Journal of Human Resources Education is now available.  This issue includes (1) an article presenting three instructional strategies to introduce students to the concept and workings of Worker Centers, (2) an exercise to teach students how to conduct effective performance reviews, and (3) an exercise designed to help students learn what defines an exempt job under the FLSA by reviewing job descriptions and median national wages for a set of jobs taken from O*NET. Finally, the issue also contains a brief description of the work of the U.S. Technical Advisory Group tasked with developing international standards for human resource management under the auspices of ANSI and ISO.

JHRE is a quarterly, online publication of the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University and is listed in Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management. This issue, as well as past issues, can be accessed at https://journals.troy.edu/index.php/JHRE/index.

Thank you for your interest and support,

    Bill
