Dear MED & Friends - We are excited to announce the details for the 2022 MSR Retreat!  Last year we received positive feedback that the online format enabled a wider and more diverse group of participants from across the globe. As such, we look forward to continuing with this model. In addition, we are offering an opportunity for connecting in person immediately after the AOM conference.

Part 1. The Online MSR Retreat
Dates: 7:00 am PDT June 16th through 9:00 am PDT June 18th, 2022
Fees: $25 for Students $50 for Faculty and other Professionals (Scholarships available)

The MSR Retreat is a unique opportunity for reflection, learning, and community building specifically designed for MSR members. The MSR Retreat is co-created and pluralistic. The intention is to explore practices from a variety of sacred, spiritual and psychological traditions that illuminate the spiritual and religious dimensions of life in management research, teaching, and practice.

The MSR Retreat will begin with an opening plenary for the entire group followed by two days of sessions scheduled around the clock to facilitate global participation. There will be a blend of whole group sessions, optional workshop offerings, and opportunities to engage in private or small group inquiry and reflection. On the final day we will gather to draw on the creative energy and relationships formed throughout the event and look ahead to AOM.

Part 2. The Post AOM Gathering
    Dates: August 10, 2022
    Fees: No charge

This post-conference gathering is for connection and reflection. We will hold the structure loosely, letting it emerge and be co-created. We might gather for a community breakfast or lunch (or both), go for a walk, and offer some meditative or contemplative practices. We’ll facilitate a conversation at the MSR online retreat to gather ideas (and welcome them by email at any time). The only commitment will be for folks to delay their return travel to Wednesday afternoon/evening.

We’ll let you know when registration opens on the AOM website. For now, BOOK THE ABOVE DATES IN YOUR CALENDAR!

In the meantime, if you have any questions or are interested in leading one of the sessions, please reach out by reply to this message or to any of us (info below) any time.

    Respectfully yours,
    The Retreat Organizing Team
