    You are officially invited to join a Management Education Division (MED) Professional Development Workshop (PDW) team at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC, August 7-11, 2020.

    This session will showcase the use of children's stories, picture books, fables, and fairy tales (ages 0-12)  in teaching various topics in management. 

    If you are interested in participating in this PDW, please submit the following details to https://tinyurl.com/VancouverPDW by Monday, November 25th.

    2. Your Full Name
    3. University Affiliation 
    4. Cell Phone
    5. Details about Your Selection: (title, author, publisher, publication date, ISBN numbers etc. in APA format)
    6. Teaching Topic/Concept: (identify the management/business topic/concept your literature illustrates. For example, business ethics, leadership theories, emotional intelligence, etc.)
    7. Synopsis of Plot: (250-word max.) Please do not plagiarize.:
    8. Estimated Activity Time: (in minutes) How long does it usually take students to complete?
    9. Facilitation Ideas/Details: Share the discussion questions and other activities and facilitator materials (e.g., prompts/think-pair-share) you use to promote learning. 
    10. Short professional bio: (75-word max.)  

    Additional notes:

    • We can't include previously published, presented, or under review work.
    • No Dr. Seuss.
    • No books which have become movies.
    • Participation in this PDW would be part of the AoM Rule of 3+3.
    • We need your ideas by November 25th so that you will have time to address our feedback and make any necessary changes well before the deadline for submitting the proposed PDW in January.
    • Reviewing for the MED division is requested from participants in this PDW.
