The Management & Marketing Department of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's School of Business seeks applicants for a tenure-eligible faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August 2022 (subject to budgetary approval). Responsibilities include developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Business Ethics, Decision Making, and other areas of Organizational Behavior as needed.The Management & Marketing Department houses diverse disciplines in general management, organizational behavior, human resources, strategy, entrepreneurship, supply chain and operations management, marketing, and marketing research. This diversity provides opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaborative research and curriculum development. Minimum QualificationsApplicants must hold a PhD (or be ABD nearing completion) in business or a closely related field. Applicants who have PhD, or who are nearing completion of their doctoral degree, in managerial cognition, business ethics, decision making, and/or organizational behavior or related areas are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those whose degree, teaching, and research align with business ethics, decision making, organizational behavior, or related areas and whose degree is from an AACSB accredited institution, or candidates who are qualified as Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards. Successful candidates must have a commitment to · engaging in/maintaining a robust research stream in cognitive management or related disciplines.
