Royal Roads University is running a design thinking challenge, with a focus on empathetic and iterative approaches to navigating societal challenges. The client--the person for whom students will work to uncover insights and find solutions--will be a civic leader. Challenge judges will mentor students in design thinking methods.

It is an amazing event, and it will be held on April 2-5, 2020 in Toronto, hosted by Rotman Commerce. If you teach a relevant class, or know someone who does, please consider registering a student team. Case competition teams have expressed that this event offers them the opportunity to learn new ways of working, and have commented on it feeling more collaborative and creative than standard case comps.

Thanks for considering, and don't hesitate to get in touch with questions!
