The Department of Management in the Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University anticipates hiring for two tenure-track assistant professor positions in management (one in HR and another in entrepreneurship) beginning in the 2023-24 academic year.  Official job posting(s) are expected to be made in October 2022.

If you are interested in an informational interview about either position during the Academy of Management conference, please contact Steve Charlier (scharlier@georgiasouthern.edu) to schedule a meeting time.  Interviews will be available August 6th-8th, either in person or virtual.

Founded in 1906, Georgia Southern University is a Carnegie Doctoral/R2 institution with a focus on public-impact research, serving about 27,000 students on three beautiful campuses in Statesboro, Savannah, and Hinesville, and via a growing online program. Through our degree offerings at the associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels, Georgia Southern offers a distinctive combination of community collaboration, world-class scholarship, innovative teaching, and hands-on learning opportunities.

As the largest major in the Parker College of Business, the Department of Management has 14 full-time faculty that support several undergraduate and graduate programs.  We equally value teaching and research, and we are proud of our highly collegial and supportive climate.  In turn, we are eager to meet potential new colleagues that are looking for a balanced workload, a great departmental culture, warm weather, and a low cost of living!
