    What is it about?
This PDW anticipates a forthcoming special issue for Business & Society. It aims to bring together management and organizational researchers interested in the study of historical injustices. We define historical injustices as wrongs committed against individuals and groups in the past that have lasting negative effects in the present. Well-known examples include the colonization of Indigenous peoples in the Americas, the Atlantic slave trade, the Holocaust during Nazi Germany, and Apartheid in South Africa. This PDW will provide an opportunity for scholars developing research on social injustices to think about issues of time and history in relation to their field studies and an invitation for researchers looking at historical injustices to connect. Participants will be able to learn from one another's experience researching injustices and receive feedback on their short papers from the guest editor team of the special issue. We hope the workshop will help sensitize other academics to the importance of the research on sociohistorical injustices and bring together like-minded scholars to constitute a community of researchers interested in the study of injustices from a business society perspective.
