Events – International Humanistic Management Association

    Friday, April 19, 2024 from 12pm - 1pm Eastern.

Join us for an engaging discussion with our esteemed speakers: Dennis J. Snower and David Sloan Wilson

For decades, the principles of humanistic management have had to struggle against a mismatch with the principles of neoclassical economics. Now there is a new paradigm for economics that provides a much better fit. Wilson and Snower will describe the new paradigm, based on their series of articles titled "Rethinking the Theoretical Foundation of Economics". Their presentation will be kept short to allow plenty of time to discuss implications for humanistic management. The following links will help audience members get the most out of the discussion, although preparation beforehand is not necessary.Rethinking the Theoretical Foundation of Economics I: The Multilevel Paradigm (article)A New Economic Paradigm for People and Planet (video)
