    Assistant Professor, Management – Organizational Behavior

    The Department of Management at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse invites applicants for a full time, tenure-track position, Assistant Professor position beginning August 23, 2020. The candidate will teach required management courses including Organizational Behavior, and other courses depending on the candidate's expertise (e.g., Human Resource Management, International Management, Strategic Management, Production & Operations Management, Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility). A typical semester includes two preparations with a nine-hour teaching load and typical class size of 30.

     Successful candidates will demonstrate an ability and interest in innovative and high quality teaching, a commitment to scholarly research consistent with AACSB International accreditation standards, and a willingness to engage in university and professional service Applicants should have or be near completing a doctoral degree in Management or a related field by the start date. Degree must be earned by the first personnel review, no later than May 15, 2021.  Prior published peer reviewed work and teaching experience is desirable, as is a commitment to diversity and inclusion.

     Preferred qualifications:

    Successful candidates will have the ability and expertise to teach organizational behavior courses, demonstrate evidence of high quality teaching potential, ability and commitment to conduct high quality research consistent with AACSB International accreditation standards, and a willingness to engage in university and professional service. Prior peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience and/or work experience related to management is desirable, as is a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
