In this TLC plenary session, Andrew Van de Ven will reflect on some lessons for inclusive teaching from the engaged scholarship movement. He will share some personal experiences in trying to become an engaged, inclusive teacher.
Andrew H. Van de Ven is Professor Emeritus in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is the author of Engaged Scholarship (Oxford University Press, 2007), which won the 2008 Terry best book award from the Academy of Management. Andrew has served as founding editor of Academy of Management Discoveries (2013-2017) and President of the Academy of Management (2000-2001).
