Invitation to contribute to a study on micro-credentials for sustainable development
An international team led by the European School of Sustainability Science and Research (ESSSR) https://esssr.eu/, the Inter-University Sustainable Development Research Programme (IUSDRP) https://www.haw-hamburg.de/ftz-nk/programme/iusdrp.html, and the UK Consortium on Sustainability Research (UK-CSR) https://www.mmu.ac.uk/research/research-centres/ecology-environment/groups/zero-carbon-sustainable-futures/UK-CSR is undertaking a study, aiming at identifying the provisions for micro-credentials about sustainable development and examining their characteristics and the challenges for implementing them into Higher Education Institutions (HEI).
Micro-credentials refer to short, targeted programs of learning that develop a specific set of learning outcomes that are assessed to validate the learner's evidence of learning. They often take advantage of the flexibility that online learning enables, but they can be delivered in person or any other combination of delivery. After successful completion, a certificate (e.g., a digital badge) is provided to the learner.
For this purpose, a survey has been designed and the instrument can be seen at: https://forms.gle/dV9W8qviGpykiAR89.
The completion will take about 10-15 minutes and the results will be shared with the colleagues interested to receive them.
