    An "instant classic" -- is my assessment of the article we discussed in the latest episode of the AMR Origins series. The article "Synergy in Mergers and Acquisitions: Typology, Lifecycles, and Value" opens up and alters the conversation about potential synergies between two or more entities in a merger or acquisition context. 


    In this episode, the authors of this paper -- Emilie Feldman and Exequiel Hernandez -- share how they developed their insightful ideas. They disclose how they initially created and elaborated tables and figures to reflect their ideas, how their ideas evolved through the writing and review process, and how they shared their ideas with practitioners to scrutinize what they were doing. This is a long episode because we had so much to talk about. I hope you will find it valuable.
