Increasing Societal Impact Through Experiential Learning
Want to turn your teaching into a powerful tool for student development, community engagement, and positive societal change?
Business faculty can create meaningful societal impact through how concepts are taught in addition to what is taught. In this interactive PDW, participants will use the Societal Impact through Experiential Learning (SITEL) framework to map their current teaching approaches, identify opportunities for greater impact, and draft or refine an experiential learning activity to increase its societal impact.
Through hands-on activities, peer coaching, and practical problem-solving, attendees will leave with concrete strategies for addressing student buy-in, logistics, and institutional barriers.
