Classroom-As-Organization in Executive Education: A Train-the-Trainer Workshop
If you're looking to refresh your experiential learning activity options, want a new take on using classroom-as-organization, or just want to experience what CAO is all about, we welcome your participation. As a train-the-trainer session, you'll experience the CAO activity as your students would, and the debrief will share all of our tips and tricks for successful facilitation.

Session description:
While classroom-as-organization (CAO) is a well-established semester-long course design within which students build, run and manage real organizational dynamics, CAO sessions in executive education are much less established. Participants will learn how to implement a compressed, high-impact CAO experience specifically designed for executive learners, who demand immediate value, practical application, and transformative learning outcomes within significantly constrained timeframes. As a train-the-trainer workshop, experienced executive education faculty will run participants through a short CAO 'chunk' sharing key adaptations, educator preparation, and in-the-moment pivots essential for the unique characteristics and expectations of executive learners. Facilitators will share debrief methods, suggested discussion questions, and resources as well.
