You will work with the principal researcher Prof Mark Fenton-O'Creevy at the Open University Business School on a large research project funded by the European Union concerned with improving our understanding of decision-making processes among investors and traders and generating technologically supported approaches to their development of expertise.

You will have good qualifications, ideally including a doctorate, and relevant research experience in social sciences or management and business, as well as experience of reviewing and synthesizing literature from a range of disciplines.  You will have an interest and aptitude for a highly collaborative research process, along with excellent communication skills and the capability to work in an independent and self-directed way. An interest in the role of emotion in decision-making would be an asset, as would an understanding of and familiarity with the world of finance.

We promote diversity in employment and welcome applications from all sections of the community.
