to the
OBTS Doctoral Institute for Management Educators

The OBTC Doctoral Institute (DI) is a one-day workshop dedicated to providing promising new teacher-scholars with personal and professional development opportunities. The goals of the DI are to help participants transition successfully from graduate school to academic life and build a lasting network of teacher-scholar colleagues. DI participants will experience close interpersonal interaction with prominent management scholars who have successfully balanced the demands of teaching, research, service, and personal life.
When: DI attendees arrive on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 13 for a meet-and-greet with the Board of Directors and then proceed to dinner. The DI workshop itself begins on Wednesday morning and lasts the entire day. The DI is followed by the Organizational Behavior Teaching Conference on June 14-June 17.
Scholarships include:
- Full registration to the Organizational Behavior Teaching Society preconference and general conference (all-inclusive conference covering room and board for both preconference and general conference, valued over $900)
- $200 travel stipend
- One-year subscription to Journal of Management Education and Management Teaching Review
- One-year membership to OBTS and OBTS.org
