CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR PROGRAM CHAIR-ELECT FOR THE MANAGEMENT EDUCATION
AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION OF THE ACADEMY OF MANAGEMENT
Members of the Management Education and Development Division of the Academy
of Management are invited to nominate individuals for the position of
Program Chair-Elect for the Annual Meeting in Denver, August 11-14, 2002.
Election as Program Chair-Elect implies a five year commitment of service to
the division from August 2001 to August 2006):
(1) Program Chair-Elect (coordinating the division's professional
development workshops segment of the program for the 2002 Denver meeting);
(2) MED Division Program Chair for the 2003 Seattle meeting;
(3) 2003/2004 Division Chair-Elect;
(4) 2004/2005 Division Chair (managing the budget and coordinating
activities); and
(5) 2005/2006 Division Past Chair (heading the nominating committee).
Nominations should be sent to Charles Wankel, Chair of the MED Division's
Nominations Committee (as Divisional Past Chair), by November 30, 2000.
