School of Business, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada.
The Department of Strategic Management and Organization, University of
Alberta School of Business, invites applications for a full-time
tenure-track position in the field of HRM and/or IR at the associate level.
Applicants should already be at the rank of senior assistant or associate
professor and must have successfully published in respected academic
journals. Success in obtaining research grants and scholarly activities will
also be considered. Applicants should also have a strong aptitude for
teaching, including management development, and should have an interest in
developing research and educational partnerships with government, labor
organizations, and business. A PhD is required.
The position is subject to budgetary approval. The Business School is able
to offer competitive salaries through market supplements. Appointments are
normally effective July 1, 2001 although January 1, 2002 would be
considered. Deadline for applications is March 31, 2001.
