    ETHICS MATTERS FOR BUSINESS
    Annual Conference of EBEN-UK, the UK Association of the European
    Business Ethics Network
    Nottingham Business School, Nottingham Trent University
    April 9-10, 2001

    The Annual Conference of EBEN-UK, the UK Association of the European
    Business Ethics Network, will be held at Nottingham Trent University
    in April 2001. Nottingham Business School is conveniently located
    close to the city centre of Nottingham, a leading city of the East
    Midlands. Nottingham boasts a range of tourist attractions, excellent
    shopping facilities, and is easily accessible by all forms of
    transport. Nottingham Business School is ranked as a top ten business
    school (Guardian, 9/11/99) and has an international reputation for its
    teaching, research and consultancy. The conference venue will be the
    recently built Bass Management Centre.

    Papers related to the broad area of ethics and business are invited
    for presentation at the EBEN-UK conference.

    Papers are to be submitted in abstract form for refereeing. Abstracts
    of between 150 and 300 words should be submitted by Friday February
    17, 2001. Both full and working papers may be presented at the
    conference. For full papers, electronic copies should be submitted to
    the conference organisers at the conference. Authors of working
    papers are requested to present an extended abstract at the
    conference. After the conference, a set of proceedings with an ISBN
    number will be produced and sent to conference delegates. Selected
    papers will appear in a special issue of Business Ethics: A European
    Review.

    Fuller details of conference costs, booking arrangements,
    accommodation, etc. will be circulated shortly. The conference
    organisers welcome initial declarations of an intent to participate in
    the conference.
