Jossey-Bass/Pfeiffer.
Schein, E. H. (1999)[1988]. Process consultation: Volume I; Its Role in
Organization Development. (Second Edition). Reading, MA: Addison-Wesley.
The students. Students are adult, working professionals (HR and HRD
generalists and general managers) working on their masters in Human
Resource Development.

2. Adjunct Opportunity to teach Research Methods/Statistics
This course is a practitioner oriented overview of applied human resource
research methods/statistics.
The course meets for eight four-hour Saturday sessions beginning September
8th.
The students are experienced adult professionals (HR generalists, HRD
specialists, OD specialists) working on their Masters in Human Resource
Development.
The course covers basic research principles (research design) and basic
statistics (descriptive stats, basic correlation).
The course is very application oriented. The class is paired with a basic
evaluation course (Demonstrating the Return on Investment for HR Efforts).
A joint evaluation project links the evaluation and statistics courses.
Students design the evaluation project (using the principles used in the
course) and then analyze a data set designed to simulate the data they would
collect in their evaluation. The research methods/stat instructor takes the
lead role in designing each student's data set, and in coaching them in
their statistical analyses.
It is important that the stat/research methods instructor be interested in
application of research methods to current human resource and organization
development issues.
Interested candidates should email their resume or any questions they have
