Attention - Case Teachers & Case Researchers!!

This year at the Academy in Washington there are two major workshops
involving cases and co-sponsored by NACRA (the North American Case
    Research Association).

If you'd like to improve your TEACHING, and gain access to four
excellent cases for your own use, join us on Sunday afternoon,
    August 5, from 1 to 5, Delaware A at the Marriott . This All-Academy
session "Effective Teaching with Cases" features four excellent
cases, taught by their authors. Participation is important, so you
will get the most out of this session if you prepare these cases in
advance; they may be found at www.nacra.net At that location, Click
on the link to Other Organizations (which mentions the Academy meeting),
and then to the list of cases for the Academy. Cases for this session
may be downloaded for advance preparation.

To learn more about effective CASE RESEARCH and WRITING, join us and
participate in the "Case Critique Colloquium," 1-5 Saturday, Lincoln
West at the Hilton. A panel of journal editors and experienced case
writers will show how to improve promising cases (and their teaching
notes). You will get the most out of this very popular professional
development session by preparing for the session. Download the
cases from www.nacra.net then click on links as noted above. Mark
up the case with your comments and bring it to the session.

You're welcome to join us for part of either session, and to just
stop in. Extra cases will be available there.
