dear list members

i am the consulting editor for a general management
digest magazine "Effective Executive" (www.icfaipress.org). i have been
asked to bring out the january 2002 issue as a special issue with
contributed articles. the theme is "Management Trends for the new
millenium" in all the various areas of management. these could be about
3000 to 4000 words.

this is presently ment for inhouse use by the students and faculty. the
efforts to popularise it in corporate circles has just begun. if any of
you feel like seeing any of the previous issues of the magazine please
feel free to inform me so that i can arrange get the hard copies posted
to you.

i need the intimation of contribution of article by 5th
December 2001 and the article by 20th December 2001. you can post the
hard copy or can also mail it to me.

Dear Friends

i am working as faculty at Icfaian Centre for Management Research (ICMR)
an
affiliate of Institute of Chartered Finanacial Analysts of India (ICFAI)
(www.icfai.org), a premier Financial and Management institution in
India. i
am also the consulting editor for a general management magazine
called "EFFECTIVE EXECUTIVE" (www.icfaipress.org). i am working towards
improving the magazines content value. till now it has been a digest
magazine, containing select reprint articles. from Jan 2002 issue
onwards
the content had slightly changed with some faculty contributing articles
to
the magazine. i request the members of the list to contribute articles,
either academicians or practicing managers. my vision is to develop it
into
a magazine containing - academic as well as practical perspectives to
the
readers and also to make it as a platform for experience sharing.

i request the interested members to contact me so that i can arrange to
send a copy of the magazine to enable you to understand the style and
requirements. depending on the interest of the members contacted i would
also like to organise discussions on selected topics which can be
published in the magazine.

any month i need to receive the intimation about contribution of article
by
5th of the month and the article on or before 15th of the month.

i am looking forward for a good response from the members. hope you
would
lend a helping hand in this endeavor.
