NOW IS THE TIME. Plan to give out surveys to your students.
Get the data on all the cool cutting-edge, innovative, exciting,
perspicacious, adroit, artful, sharp, rich, savvy, prudent, penetrating,
sagacious, keenly perceptive, critically astute, remarkable, arresting,
cogent, forceful, salient, compelling, things that you've been doing in
teaching this term. You'll need that data for the paper that you'll send
to REGINA BENTO the Academy of Management's Management Education and
Development Division Program Chair. I know she thinks highly of both
and your work. But you've got to get your paper or symposium (panel)
proposal done and to her by JANUARY 4th. The reviewers of your paper
will certainly be impressed. Hey, you might win one of MED's best paper
awards. Oh yeah! Of course, getting a paper accepted on the MED
Program counts twice: validation of your research acumen and validation
of your innovative teaching. The dean will love you so much! Imagine
the article in the alumni magazine. Imagine the wonderful lines on your
c.v. Yes...there is still time. Hey, it's more than a month off!
Email Regina <
rbento@ubmail.ubalt.edu> about your idea. Ask if it seems
like a good fit the MED program. She's nice. Then...send it off to her
so she gets by January 4th.
