Hi there everyone,
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this before but I spent the last year
designing a 360-degree feedback instrument and I'm really interested in
getting feedback on the ideas behind it. The reason being, it seems to
me
that the vast majority of tools on the market solely focus on the three
key
fundamentals of leadership, namely 1) having strategic vision 2) being
able
to motivate and lead other towards that vision 3) and the ability to
generate results.
Therefore, I created a tool that includes these important elements but
fails
to neglect new developments in leadership that are also fundamental to
effective leadership behavior. The second half of my tool looks at the
emotional intelligence, character, self/other development, and ability
to
utilize the principles of organizational justice in leaders. There are
also
similar versions for individual contributors and managers, as the
primary
version is for individuals with true leadership responsibility in
organizations.
I'd love to hear feedback on the thinking behind this tool and I'd be
happy
