I am editing a special issue of _Academic Exchange Quarterly_, an
international journal dedicated to the presentation of ideas, research,
methods, and pedagogical theories leading to effective instruction and
learning regardless of level or subject.

The topic of the special issue is "Online Instruction and Its Assessment."
I am looking for articles dealing with theoretical and practical methods
of assessing online course quality, student learning outcomes from online
instruction, student qualification criteria before enrolling in online
    courses,
faculty qualifications regarding online course delivery, and comparisons
of face-to-face classroom instruction with online instruction.

Articles should be 1500-3000 words long. Because of the inter-disciplinary
nature of our journal, no single format or manuscript style is required.
Articles may be submitted by e-mail (prefer MS Word)or by postal mail.
The deadline for submission is July 1, 2001, but early submissions are
preferred. See the following for submission information:

_Academic Exchange Quarterly_ is a peer-reviewed journal. Those articles
accepted for publication in the winter issue will also be considered for
    book publication:

For a list of schools, colleges, and universities whose faculty have
published within _Academic Exchange Quarterly_, see the following:

Please e-mail me privately if you have any questions. Thank you.
