    Hi Colleagues,

    Before I fade away, I would like to announce the latest findings in the field of Leadership of Organizations (LO), 2015.  Research over the last forty years has supported the theory that understanding behavior relevant to utility creation by collective activity is better facilitated by the field of study which is divided into the leadership of design of organizations and leadership of operations of organizations.  SHRM-SIOP White Paper  

    The cells of the leadership matrix contain the taxonomy of designs crossed with the taxonomy of operations.  For example, design includes lean manufacturing, flexible innovating and the like, and operations includes strategic operations, people operations, customer operations and the like.  The functions of leadership in organizations are to design and implement an activity that pleases its stakeholders the best.  In terms of analysis, the unit of analysis is the experience of the actors, enacting the design within the context of the stakeholders and the experience of shareholders.
