  • 1.  Evaluating Leadership Programs

    Posted 02-13-2001 11:49
    Greetings,

Eastern Washigton University is starting a leadership certification
program. This will esentially work as a minor or as a stand alone program
form someone wishing to pursue the development of specific skills.

As Instutitional Assessment Coordinator I have been asked by the program
faculty for advice on assessing the program. I suggested our stock
approach to program assessment, however the faculty expressed interest in
knowing more about the assessment of leadership training/teaching.
Specifically they are interested in the experiences of other Universities
    with such programs.

Since this list seems to be very interested in leadership issues I agreed
to query the members about assessment and will forward responses to our
faculty. Depending on the responses from this list I may also post this
    question to Evaltalk.

Thanks in advance for your help
