    Position #1

    Towson University invites applications for the position of Chair, Department
    of Management, College of Business and Economics for Fall 2001. This is a
    senior level appointment and the successful candidate should have
    demonstrated administrative experience, scholarly achievement, teaching and
    leadership skills. Business, research and teaching experience in the primary
    areas of International Business and Human Resources is desired although
    Business Policy and Strategy experience would be a plus. Applicants should
    possess a PhD in the appropriate area from a recognized and AACSB accredited
    university.

    The salary, benefits and teaching load (one course per semester) are
    competitive. The initial screening application deadline is October 31, 2000
    and will remain open until filled.

    The College of Business and Economics is an AACSB accredited program with
    over 2200 undergraduates and growing. There are over 60 faculty, in five
    departments.

    Towson University invites applications for a senior level position in the
    Department of Management, College of Business and Economics, for Fall 2001.
    The successful candidate for this position should show significant scholarly
    achievement, strong teaching skills, and capacity for outreach to the
    business community. Business, research and teaching experience in the
    primary areas of TQM/ Production/ Quantitative Analysis is desired.
    Candidates able to teach in more than one area are preferred. Applicants
    should possess a PhD in the appropriate area from a recognized and AACSB
    accredited university.

    The salary, benefits and teaching load are competitive. The initial
    screening application deadline is October 31, 2000 and will remain open
    until filled.
