The Sam M. Walton College of Business Administration invites nominations and
applications for the position of Director, Center for Management and
Executive Development. The Center provides executive and other training
opportunities for corporate and general public clients designed to enhance
quality in leadership and management decision-making. High quality
integrative programs provide knowledge of current acceptable practices and
problem solving approaches that support progressive management achievements.
Qualifications: The College seeks nominees and applicants with innovative
visions of executive education who will accept the challenge of creating
cutting-edge programs delivered through both electronic and traditional
media. A post-graduate degree or equivalent professional experience is
required. The candidate must provide evidence of talent to work
collaboratively with others and exhibit an ability to lead teams. The
capability to communicate effectively with administration, faculty, and
external constituents and a strong client orientation are required.
Candidates demonstrating success in originating, marketing, and facilitating
executive programs as well as administrative and budgetary experience will
be given preference. A willingness to travel frequently and work
independently is essential.
Appointment: The desired starting date is March 1, 2001. Salary will be
competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a
full time, 12-month administrative appointment.
