    Piero,

Please pardon my ignorance, but what might 'Performance Consulting' be? I am
not being 'snippy' here - I really want to know. Every self respecting
consultant knows that their contribution to a company will increase
performance in one way or another. As it should.

Could 'Performance Consulting' equal consulting to improve corporate
performance? As measured by (a) efficiency, (b) total output, (c)
profit, (d) adaptability, (e) long term survival?

If you measure 'performance' as long term corporate thriving, then I
would suggest that a company whose operational systems yield high marks
on the Baldrige Criteria is most likely to have a high performance, and
    thrive.
Then a 'Performance Consulting' resource would be the Baldrige criteria,
and people who can help interpret them to your specific needs.

Hoshin Kanri/Hoshin PLanning might fit in there, if you don't let the
    structure weigh you down.
