    Dear Colleagues,

     

    [Pardon for any annoying cross-posting]

     

    What can be better than to escape the rain and cold of November to the heavenly Southern France city of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Marseille</st1:city></st1:place>? Please see the attached call for papers (or click on the link below to the website). I would like to encourage you to submit a paper (only a summary is needed in the first stage) and to circulate this call among students and colleagues. The deadline is July 20, 2008.

    I am coordinating Track # 34: Cross-Cultural Management: The cognitive and affective implications of culture for organisational life. Our motto for the conference is: intensive knowledge sharing in a relaxed cultural atmosphere. I invite you to join us.

    The <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">EuroMed</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype></st1:place> of Business announces the

    1st Annual EuroMed Conference

     

    European and Mediterranean Trends

     and

    Challenges in the 21st Century

     

    November 17-18, 2008

    The conference includes 38 different tracks in the area of Business in the EuroMed region in the field of business, including strategy, Corporate Social Responsibility, organizational behavior, information systems, ethics, mergers and acquisitions, marketing, human resource management, tourism, entrepreneurship, international management, and more. 

     

    Track chairs are scholars from various universities and countries such as United Kingdom, Cyprus, Israel, Spain, Greece, Russia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, India, Portugal, USA, Canada, and more. 

     

    Papers will be considered for publication in the EuroMed Journal of Business published by Emerald- http://www.emeraldinsight.com/emjb.htm  (the official Journal of EMRBI).

     

    Send an electronic version of your abstract of no more than 750 words, full paper, Symposium/PDW, or case study by 20th July 2008.
