Yesterday, I was asked by a colleague whether I had up-to-date
information on the number of career changes an individual is now said to
make in the course of their working life.

I know this has been regularly researched. Does anyone have available
ready references to current research on this question.

Thanks in advance, especially for my friend.

    Dear Don:

In my thesis The measurement and development of professional expertise. A
retrospective study among higher level Dutch professionals, I wrote one
chapter on the outcomes concerning the relationship between career history
(mobility steps) and the amount of professional expertise and its influence
on the employability score of individual middle and higher level employees.
It might be interesting for you.

Kindest regards, Beatrice van der Heijden.
