    Dear colleagues,

With the start of fall classes, I thought it would be timely to announce a new website where two business leaders and I blog and podcast about ethics and sustainability.  Since we use storytelling to convey our ideas, many of these blogs and podcasts can be used in the classroom, perhaps as an introduction to a module.

For instance, I use Star Trek characters to make some points about ethics in this blog:

To Go Boldly: Trekking for Moral Courage

    http://the-gift-tree.com/to-go-boldly-for-moral-courage/

My colleague, Michael Friedlander, Esq., offers this blog:

An Ethics Test That Many Failed – How Would You Do?

    http://the-gift-tree.com/an-ethics-test-that-many-failed-how-would-you-do/

In our most popular podcast, Steve Burrows, CBE, discusses:

That Sustainability Thing-Learning From the Past, From Pyramids and Nature

    http://the-gift-tree.com/001-that-sustainability-thing-learning-from-the-past/

I have found that students really listen when notable business leaders like Michael and Steve speak about ethics and sustainability and their importance in business.

The site is called "The Gift Tree" to convey that we are offering our "gifts" of insights.  And it is free!
