CALL FOR GUEST EDITORSHIP
The Journal of International Education in Business (JIEB) is seeking expressions of interest in guest editorship of themed issues on topics including:
- international education
- cross- and inter-cultural aspects of internationalisation
- internationalisation of business schools
- business school teaching and learning
- academic and social engagement of students
- recruitment and marketing of business education in international contexts
- quality processes with respect to internationalisation
- global organisations as stakeholders of internationalisation
JIEB is a peer reviewed journal concerned with theoretical and pedagogic aspects of international education in business schools and its flow-on implications for the workplace. The journal publishes papers that are concerned with theoretical and empirical research (qualitative and quantitative) as well as case analyses. Papers that explore micro- and macro-perspectives in business and international education are also published.
Key journal audiences
• Business school academics and administrators
• Recruiters, human resource managers and strategists in global organisations
• Students support services attached to business schools
• Higher educational and professional accreditation boards
• International marketing and recruiting representatives/agents for business schools
Special issue proposals will need to address at least one area from the aims and scope listed above, outline a rationale, suggest a timeline and give some indicative themes for papers. It is expected that the special issue will publish in 2017.
