Coker College's Department of Business invites applications for the tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Business with an anticipated start date of August 2018. The College anticipates filling two positions. Preferred specializations include Finance, Strategic Management, Accounting, Operations, and Entrepreneurship.
Coker College's Department of Business includes eight full-time faculty members in the fields of management, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, and economics. With approximately 300 undergraduate majors, the department offers both traditional and online programs, and also provides classes required for the master's degree in college athletic administration as well as the master's degree in management and leadership.
The college is seeking a student-centered, innovative individual who is passionate about teaching; dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with students, faculty, and staff across campus; eager to contribute his/her interests and ideas for new and innovative courses and programs; and committed to actively contributing to Coker College's mission.
This is a full-time, 9-month position with competitive salary and benefits. The successful candidate will report to the Chair of the Department of Business.
