    Call For Papers

    INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (IMDA)
    Sixth Annual World Business Congress
    Chonju City, South Korea
    (July 23-27, 1997)

    Dear Colleagues:

IMDA is organizing its sixth Annual World Business Congress at Chonju
City, South Korea, in association with Chollabuk-Do Provincial
Government and other organizations. As a Chairperson of the Global
Human Resource Management track, I would like to invite papers/proposals
for presentation at the above World Congress on topics related to any
area of international dimensions of HRM or HRD. Some outstanding papers
will be included in special issues of the Journal of Transnational
Management Development, and selected papers from the Congress
proceedings will be published in a hardbound book form by the
International Business Press (IBP-Haworth Press Inc.)

    Guidelines for submitting papers:

One page (200 words) abstract should be submitted to the track chair
    ASAP.

Papers must not exceed 25 double spaced typewritten pages (including
tables, figures, references). Text should follow the Journal of
Teaching in International Business, or Journal of Transnational
Management Development format. Referencing should follow the APA style.

Three copies of the complete paper to be submitted to the track chair by
    March 31, 1997.

Each paper should have a separate title page with authors' name(s),
affiliation, address, telephone-Fax numbers, and e-mail address.
Multiple authors should indicate the contact person.

All papers will be blind reviewed. Authors must avoid revealing
identity in the paper (excepting the separate title page). Selection
will be based on quality, originality and relevance as judged by the
    independent reviewers.

Papers MUST NOT have been published, accepted for publication or be
    under consideration elsewhere.

Authors submitting papers must agree to return a camera ready copy of
the paper along with a computer diskette containing the paper, when
    selected.

In accordance with professionalism, at least one author is expected to
present their paper at the Congress. Only those registered for the IMDA
World Business Congress (and paid the registration fees) will have the
papers published in the refereed proceedings.
