The First International Organization Conference on
'Modes of Organizing: Power Knowledge Shifts' is to be held at
University of Warwick on April 3rd-4th 1997. Organised in
collaboration with University of Lancaster and University of Amherst
at Massachusetts, this conference marks the first in a new series in
the field of organisation studies. Conference themes include:
Organization, Innovation and Networks Impact of New Technologies and
Concepts Changes in Power and Control Netwroks and Knowledge
Production Organizational Discourse and Representational Strategies
Identity, Knowledge and Power.
Guest speakers: Karen Legge (Lancaster); Linda Smircich & Marta Calas
(Amherst)
Registrations should be submitted by MARCH 1st 1997.
