Dutch,
Don't know if this is near the mark but here goes:
I've participated in a "virtual lecture" situation and it went very well.
An I/O Psy. professor at Temple asked to use my Web site with his class and
for me to include a "virtual lecture". The class was asked to review the
content at my site (Intranet based system that supports mgrs. in employee
selection) and then read my lecture. They then responded to either the
professor or me with their thoughts. Even though the students were on
campus, the class is taught entirely via computer over the Net. The
students were mostly novice computer users.
I thought student participation was exellent and I truely enjoyed the
contact I had with them.
If any of this is of interest let me know and I'll give you more info.
Good luck.
