I have received the preliminary announcement of the Global Forum
on Management Education. The purpose of the announcement brochure
is to provide a brief overview of the conference, and to collect
contact information from individuals who would like to receive
the complete information packet during summer 1997.

Briefly, this is the overview presented in the brochure:
Held twice each decade, the Global Forum on Management Education
is the world's preeminent event for individuals who lead academic
and corporate education and training programs related to busi-
ness, economics and management.
Being held in the United States for the first time, the Global
Forum is conducted to:
* identify key business, political and cultural issues and e
explore their implications for the content and delivery of man-
agement education;
* showcase innovative learning practices developed in both the
corporate and academic sectors and encourage their adaptation
by other management educators; and
* facilitate interaction and understanding among management
educations in different world regions to assist in the creation
and expansion of cross-national institutional alliances and
partnerships.
