Sandy raises a very interesting question: how can I assess the quality
of a course that I am teaching to help improve it. I believe that
quality in this case is meeting the requirements of key stakeholders
such as students, accreditation agencies, present and future employers
of students, the administration and faculty of the institution, and of
society and community. Sandy mentions her reflective journal as one way
to attend to improving courses. I would like to hear from other
MG-ED-DVers about tools and techniques that you are using to improve
your courses. Give us a description that includes both successes and
snafus. Also if you found a particular article, website, etc. to be a
great resource in this regard please throw that into the discussion.
