Dear Sandy,
May I suggest you develop the course around a simulation in the
management game form? If it is a sophisticated one, participants will
derive at least two major pedagogical benefits: first, prospective
teachers will increasingly want to make use of sims as educational
instruments. Second, they will get direct personal experience of learning
by teamwork--another key T&D technology, and, not least, the challenge of
assessment of task-oriented teamwork.
If you chose to use the International Operations Sim (INTOPIA) your class
will get an awareness of international business strategy in home and host
countries, which will remain an ultra-hot topic for another generation.
