Does anyone on the list have information about the OBTC
conference this summer at Case Western? A couple of people
have asked me about it and I never did get a mailing on it this
year. For those unfamiliar with OBTC, it is the Organizational
Behavior Teaching Conference. I've been a couple of times
and always came away with great ideas for the courses I teach.

    Cheers,

    Bill

    Hi Bill,

The OBTC conference is June 11-14 at Case Western Reserve University.
    There is a pre-conference T=Group from June 8-11.

I don't know why you didn't get a mailing, but if you call 216-368-2055 and
ask for Eric Neilson you should be able to get on right away.

Would someone let me know where the Organizational Behavior Teaching
Conference will be held this year and where I could go to get details about
    it?

Sorry if this information was posted earlier.

Also, is there anyone out there interested in collaborating on the idea of
"motivational" teaching techniques --- I just finished an introductory OB
course and set up a point system for grades. Students not only knew up front
what they needed to get an A, I also provided them with a wide variety of
assignments by which they could earn those points. I found that students, on
average, earned approximately 200+ points more than they needed to to get an A
and felt "empowered" over their grade. I'd like to know if anyone else has
used a model like this or what you think.

    Thanks in advance...
