Would someone let me know where the Organizational Behavior Teaching
Conference will be held this year and where I could go to get details about
it?
Sorry if this information was posted earlier.
Also, is there anyone out there interested in collaborating on the idea of
"motivational" teaching techniques --- I just finished an introductory OB
course and set up a point system for grades. Students not only knew up front
what they needed to get an A, I also provided them with a wide variety of
assignments by which they could earn those points. I found that students, on
average, earned approximately 200+ points more than they needed to to get an A
and felt "empowered" over their grade. I'd like to know if anyone else has
used a model like this or what you think.
Thanks in advance...
