Internet delivery of course material; a question

    I am planning on using the internet for course content and assignment
    delivery. The learners are allowed to self-pace the completion of the
    assignments. I cannot find any information that addresses the question of
    the best method for placing the assignments on the web.

    I need any information members may have, either published references or
    experiences.
