Dear MED friends I would like to introduce Nora Carrol, president,
The First Forward Institute, Inc. (FFI) in Alexandria, VA, and
faculty member at the University of Maryland and George Mason
    University.
    e-mail: ncffi@erols.com

Nora has recently been in eastern Europe, and in renewing her
contact with the MED division she believes there are several ways to
collaborate with MED members, especially through distance learning
    development and delivery.

FFI is an enterprise development and education firm which focuses on
emerging, revitalizing and non-traditional organizations. The company
reflects my own 24 yr. business and academic background, and works
with distance learning by: 1) consulting to institutions and
companies, assessing, analyzing and developing courses on enterprise
that use e-mail, computer conferencing and ITV technologies; 2)
creating and delivering credit-granting courses for educational
institutions; and 3) offering noncredit, professional development
short courses directly through FFI or its clients. As an individual,
I teach at the University of Maryland and George Mason University in
classroom and distance formats, and was certified in on-line
    instruction last spring.

Please visit the FFI website by following the link below. If you are
interested in discussing ways that FFI can support what your
institution or clients are doing in alternatively-delivered learning.

    Kind regards from Europe (UK)
