If your sales meetings are a little blah, I have two exercises you might
want to try. One is a variation on a children's memory game, where people
are briefly shown a few objects and asked to write down what they remember.
Only this version has a very unusual twist.
The other exercise involves getting a golf ball out of a paper bag. The
solution will surprise you, and will hopefully get your sales staff to
think creatively about solving customer problems.
The exercises are a little too elaborate to post here. You can get them by
sending mailto:
IPS@olympus.net with the subject line, "Send Exercises."
They're excerpted from the new book, "Better Sales Meetings in 3 to 30
Minutes," by Malinda Terreri. I have her permission to distribute these two
pieces from her book.
You can also find these exercises -- and more information about the book
and author -- at Malinda's web site, http://www.bettersalesmeetings.com/
