Dear List Members...
First, please excuse the cross-postings. I am soliciting
as many responses to my questions as possible.
Now that I have asked many lists interested in education,
training, and teaching issues regarding their state's/ countries
technical competency requirements for teachers (all disciplines) seeking
licensure (certification)... the feature column will continue weekly
with this thread posting responses. A summary of submittals will also
be posted.

New Feature and Previous Features found on left navigational bar.
Next logical question... how do universities assure governmental bodies
that their preservice teachers *are* technically competent?
1. What courses are offered?
2. How is competency testing assured and
documented?
Related question...
3. How are employers recent graduates (technical, vocational,
community colleges, universities)... not just
teachers... assured that job candidates are technically
skilled (competent)
For a computer introductory competency syllabus see:

Computer competency is just one piece of technical competency.
